Bar Brilschans, the greenest summer bar in Antwerp, is back. There is fun for young and old in the Berchem Brilschanspark from 22 to 25 August. Music performances, children's entertainment or relaxing with friends and family: these are our seven suggestions for the end of the summer vacation.

1) Catch up with colleagues
On Thursday you are welcome during the after work session with happy hour, delicious food trucks, petanque courts with pastis and a performance by Gregor Terror & Ther Calypso Gigolos. Gregor Terror & The Calypso Gigolos take you to the Caribbean and bring authentic Calypso music from Trinidad from the forties and fifties.

2) Bring the children
Bar Brilschans welcomes small and large children with open arms. Special children's entertainment is available for them on Saturdays and Sundays. On Saturday afternoon they enjoy the poetic hair salon, an urban dance initiation or a visit from the Sugar Doll Fairy. The "Kraken" circus performance is on the program in the evening. On Sundays, the children should bring their two-wheeler, because during the workshop "pimp your bike" they turn their own scooter or bike into a real work of art!

3) Talk quietly
Even those who prefer to keep quiet can go to Bar Brilschans. In the 60+ tent of the district you can enjoy coffee and cake on Saturdays and Sundays and socialize, away from the crowds.

4) Join us on step
Join a guided walk on Saturday or Sunday. The domain of the future Park Brialmont contains a wealth of stories. Do you remember, for example, where the Berchem gates were in the Brialmont wall? Are you curious about what the old Brilschans looked like? Discover the fascinating history and fantastic stories from Park Brialmont during a historical walk. 5) Sing along in West Flemish
Pop and funk sound good in West Flemish, as Ertebrekers have proven for years. With earwigs such as "De Zji", "Eva Mendes" and "Paranoia", Flip Kowlier, Peter Lesage and Jeffrey Bearelle pack their messages in soulful rap and pop music. Ertebrekers guarantees catchy numbers with scanty lyrics.

6) Dance to hits from the past and present
Raf Van Brussel's party band "Brussels by night" brings an extremely danceable mix of classical and recent hits. This swinging six-member live band brings the best hits of recent decades: from Eurythmics to Lady Gaga, from Duffy to The Police.

7) Enjoy good food and drinks
A visit to Bar Brilschans is only really successful if you sit down with a summer drink in one of the beach chairs. At the food trucks you will find an extensive choice: from pasta, croques and cupcakes to a halal barbecue.
